More time at home for all the family |
Nothing feels much better than a full body plunge into a soothingly warm pool. Warm water wraps around you and relaxes every muscle in your body.
The entire family will enjoy more time in your pool. Think about all the extra months of fun, exercise and sheer relaxation.
A Heliocol Solar Heating System with patented Individual Tube Design TM technology will bring you many years of safe, worry-free, comfortable enjoyment in your pool.

What
can I expect ?Subject to location, seasonal variations and individual comfort needs, the graph below is an example of how swimming seasons have been dramatically extended for hundred of Australian families. Mr Soar will be happy to discuss this with you.
Heliocol solar
panels are installed on your roof in a sunny position. Your pool water is pumped
through hundreds of tubes in the collectors where it absorbs the sun's heat
(think of your car parked in the sun, or a garden hose lying in the sun). This
warmed water is then returned to the pool for your enjoyment.
Booster pump is shown here installed after the filter. Alternatively, if separate solar lines have been installed into the pool. a the solar system can ideally be installed on a separate circuit. Ask Mr Solar for details.
We also have an option of a Solar Powered Pump
Years of improvements have made Heliocol's individual tube design the ultimate in simplicity and effectiveness. From efficiency to long term durability to the 25 year warranty, Heliocol offers unrivalled benefits.
| Heliocol collectors have been engineered to employ what is known in the solar industry as a fully wetted surface. This provides for maximum exposure to the sun, therefore allowing all water to be in direct contact with more heat gathering tubes. | |

Heliocol, with tough polypropylene construction, is the preferred choice in may treed suburbs because of its resilience to cockatoos, possums and other vermin.
Heliocol collectors are manufactured from UV stabilised polypropylene utilising a unique over moulding process. During this process, the headers and the individual tubes of the solar panels are moulded into one piece, thereby eliminating hundreds of individual joins.

Heliocol solar collectors have been engineered and manufactured by the same company in the same factory for over 26 years. Heliocol is now ranked the world's largest solar manufacture.
Because Heliocol collectors are secured firmly to the roof with permanent fixings, and with successful wind tunnel tests exceeding 200 km/h they have become the preferred choice in high wind areas and on steeper roofs.
Heliocol's certification to the International Standard ISO 9002 means you can be assured of the highest standards in manufacture and installation.
All solar products need to be installed in an area with maximum exposure to the sun. This will probably mean a north facing slope of your roof, however sometimes westerly or easterly roof may be more acceptable. Many systems have also been installed on flat carports or patio areas. Heliocol also manufacture a collector designed for mounting on a fence or wall. Mr Solar can advise on the location to suit your situation.
This will depend on many factors. Where you live in Australia, whether your pool is in full sun or shade, the amount of wind across the pool, the size of your pool and by how much you want to increase your season. A site inspection by Mr Solar is recommended.
In most installation we recommend a second pump so the work load on your existing filter pump is not increased. There are several methods of connecting this pump; into your existing pipe work, or you may have separate pipes in place ready for solar connection.
We also have an option of a Solar Powered Pump
It shouldn't provided you have an automatic controller fitted as part of the installation. This device switches the circulating pump on during period of good solar gain and off during shady periods and at night. It will also turn the pump off when your pool water reaches your pre-programmed comfort setting.
Yes. Because Heliocol is manufactured in a modular format, installation is very easy. Simply connect the collector panels together top and bottom with the special joining clamps supplied.
